Vladivostok noted the import of more than 100 thousand foreign cars
Vladivostok Customs notes a record growth in container cargo transportation – more than 40 thousand containers in August 2022. The number of carriers has increased sixfold, of which the share of Russian has grown to 40%. Smaller vessels are used, but there are more of them. Cars have already been imported twice as much as last year.

Konstantin Ponomarev of Vladivostok, in an interview with Vesti-Primorye, after the introduction of sanctions in April and May, noted a decline in trade turnover. However, now Vladivostok Customs has not only reached the indicators of last year, but also exceeded them. According to the results of eight months, more than $ 26 billion worth of goods were imported, which is 25% higher than in 2022.
